ViseNyc is a collaboration between two childhood friends from Harlem, New York. Both collaborators are former DJs, are passionate about their respective field, and dream of one day impacting the culinary and music industry. At ViseNyc we discuss music, we discuss food, but most importantly we expose the masses to underrated DJs that are saving our weekend’s one track at a time and expose our readers to current culinary trends that will leave you camping out in front of your local eateries. Since ViseNyc encompasses all facets of both worlds, we couldn’t think of a better way to describe our mission as well as Craig Mack put it in 1992, “We are that flavor in your ear.”

My peoples! Lets face it… This was the best weekend in NYC ever! We had amazing weather, Women in drastically less layers than days before, and we had two of the biggest Food Festivals NYC has ever seen! In Brooklyn’s Prospect Park we had The Great Googa Mooga with tons of Celebrity Chefs rocking out to the Roots and slinging their culinary crack at breakneck speed!
The craziest sh!t I saw and ate was M.Well’s Horse Bologna,Foie Gras, and Grilled Cheese Sandwich! Horse, Duck, Milk? F*ck yea!
Only one phrase could have described this PETA abomination: F#CKING AMAZING! I usually dont curse this much, but when you experience something this good, why the f&ck not? Lol. I miss you M.Wells! I cant wait till you guys get back!
Anyways, a few miles away in Manhattan we had the 9th Avenue International Food Festival! I literally felt like I was in a different place when we were there.
At one point we were watching 3 Italian Men slinging the most amazing Napoletano style Pizza from a wood burning oven on a Chevy flatbed and in less than a few feet, I felt like I was back in South America! Good to be home! The only thing that was missing was the monsterous meat grilling contraption, but bite my tongue… We found it 10 feet away right next to a Cajun Restaurant that was slinging Aligator Sausage, tubs of Craw Fish, and the best Jambalaya I have ever encountered North of the Mason Dixie Line. Lol.
Yes indeed Ladies and Gentlemen, this past weekend was Foodie Paradise and Hard Core Food Porn Central! Lol.
